Light Detection and Ranging

Light Detection And Ranging(LiDAR ) is a surveying method that measures the distance to a target by illuminating the target with pulsed laser light and measuring the reflected pulses with a sensor. Differences in laser return times and wavelengths can then be used to make digital 3-D representations of the target. The SiPM of Joinbon is fast and sensitive which acts as an idea sensor of LiDAR system with the time of flight technique. In addition, the compactness and low operating voltage make the SiPM suitable to the minimization equivalent, which is expected by the pilotless vehicle and robots.
