On October 16, Joinbon Technology released a new product with a photosensitive area of 36mm2, the TP6050 SiPM, which is the largest SiPM of Joinbon Technology. The new product is manufactured on CMOS process and uses a new wafer-level package based on TSV technology. It features high uniformity and high reliability, and easy to use and low cost. It is the best choice for large area detection applications.

 


The TP6050 still has the huge advantage of wafer level packaging. The new product has a photosensitive area of up to 99%, and the dead zone outside the photosensitive area is almost completely eliminated. The package size equals chip size is basically achieved, and the device is light thin, small, and efficient. In addition, the structural optimization and the improvement of the package precision greatly improve the uniformity and reliability of the product.

 

The TP6050 is ideal for large area inspections. Compared with the previous products with a photosensitive area of 1mm×1mm and 3mm×3mm, the new product has been significantly improved in the photosensitive area. In the case of the same photosensitive area, the TP6050 can significantly reduce the number of channels, making it easier to use, and the cost per unit area is further reduced, which is more cost-optimized.
