On February 6th, 2018, Joinbon Technology releases brand new TN series silicon photomultipliers. Compared with the previous products, the TN series achieved a significant improvement in its overall performance. In particular, the response speed increased for which the rise time is less than 1 ns, and the dark count rate is as low as 88 kHz/mm2. (From TN3037@Vov=2V).
TN3000 SiPM
The TN series SiPM consists of active areas of 3mm x 3mm and 1mm x 1mm. and they are packaged respectively in the size of 4mm x 4mm and 1.8mm x 1.8mm. They are all encapsulated in a highly translucent epoxy encapsulated SMT package and the moisture sensitive level reaches MSL3.
TN series specifically optimized and improved the time performance for the requirements of fast response, high time resolution applications such as PET (positron emission tomography) and light detection and ranging systems. The response time is dramatically increased and rise time of the device is less than 1ns, typical response sharp is shown as below:
